In House Meet: Saturday, May 26th
May 8th
Our first in house diving meet with Bryan and Coach K will be Saturday, May 26th at 10am. The meet should run until around noon followed by the pizza party so, plan on being there until 1pm. We understand this is Memorial Day weekend however with our busy schedules over the past few months and the upcoming summer this is the only time we had free.
All divers need to report to the pool at 9:30am to stretch and select their dives with their teammates. For those of you who have not participated in an in house diving, it is a relaxed competition where divers are put into mini teams. It is a lot of fun and a great way to get to know your fellow teammates! Following the meet we will be having a pizza party sponsored by the team. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
YCF Diving Welcomes Coach K
Mar 14th
YCF Diving is please to introduce our new coach for Lessons and J01, Michelle Koch or “Coach K”. It has been a long search, but Coach K will do a fantastic job with our up and coming divers.
Coach K comes to YCF diving with years of experience as both a coach and a diver. In fact, Coach K was a former member of Team Orlando Diving. She then went on to coach alongside Curt McCoy at Patriot Aquatics where she coached the novice and intermediate groups. Most recently, Coach K has coached the Oviedo and Seminole high school diving teams and assisted in running and judging their competitions.
As we begin the transition of a new coaching staff, Coach K will work closely with myself by taking over Courtney’s current JO 2 and 4 groups while Wally and Joey will continue with the lessons and JO 1 until April 1st when Bryan will be joining the team. Coach K will be on pool deck immediately so please come by and introduce yourself as she is very excited to meet and become a part of our team.

YCF Diving In House Meet
Jan 25th
This is just a reminder that we will be hosting our first In-House meet of the year this Saturday, January 28th at 10 am! Please remember to wear your team suits and shirts.
For those of you who are new to our in house meets, we place divers into groups so that each group has a diver from each level, Lessons – JO5. Each diver will perform 3-4 dives based on the size of the group. All dive groups (or directions, front, back, reverse, inward, and twister) must be covered by the group. Divers can perform dives from the 1 meter boards all the way up to the 10 meter. Coach Mark and myself will judge the event. At the conclusion of the competition, we will announce the winning team and will have pizza and drinks for all the divers! Parents, if you would like to bring extra snacks for the lunch it would be much appreciated.
Make sure to bring your cameras and we look forward to seeing everyone at the pool on Saturday morning!
